Las Vegas Trip

What a crazy month this August has been...and it isn't even over yet, and the best is yet to come!
Adam was in Las Vegas from Aug. 1-10 for work classes and conferences, and I joined him there from Aug. 10-16.
I worked almost every day he was gone, and it was REALLY rough...I lost a patient unexpectedly, and it has been tough. She was an oncology patient that I had taken care of every single day I worked since May...and then to come find out another one of our oncology patients died when I was on vacation. It is still really hard to go to work at this point, but this trip definitely helped out a lot, and my parents get here on Sunday, so that I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO!!!
Before joining Adam in Vegas I went to visit my chica Chelle in California...and it was FABULOUS. I always have a great time with her...we just went out bar hopping, chilling at the boat harbor, walking around, grilling with her crew, and relaxing. She even arranged for us to get massages! It was just a really nice time...

We didn't gamble while I was there...we went and saw so many things like: most of the casinos, saw Cirque di Soleil: Zumanity, Blue Man group, and Penn and Teller, went to the Modernist Art Exhibit at the Bellagio, went to the top of the Eiffel Tower, and enjoyed so many FABULOUS meals! Also took advantage of being able to shop at the stores Hawaii doesn't have that I miss SO much!
So my parents get here on Sunday and are here through the first week of September, we celebrate our TWO YEAR wedding anniversay next week (it has gone SO fast, and married life is the BESTEST thing EVER!), followed birthday month for me and Adam, and then WE GO TO NEW HAMPSHIRE AND PENNSYLVANIA IN OCTOBER! Yay!
